Back In Time

We are a community school which grew out of a need for quality education and smaller classes in 1983. Our founders were donated 120 hectares of land tucked amidst the hills of the Hunyani Range, 7km west of Chinhoyi, and built the school rapidly, using our characteristic pre-fab style.

The school opened with no uniform, in very incomplete buildings on the 14th of February 1983. Ever since, we celebrate this day annually. Founder pupils remember planting fields and lawns themselves. We are proud of our rural setting and ethos. Our motto, Tabatana, meaning ‘togetherness’, celebrates our Zimbabwean setting and unique system.
